Sony Xperia X Performance Games

Sony’s latest line of smartphones, the X series, contains three different models, the Xperia XA, Xperia X and Xperia X Performance, with slightly different internals. Overall, they are all pretty similar, with some minor internal differences. You’ll find the best specs in the Xperia X Performance, though aside from the processor and waterproof capabilities, there isn’t much that stands out.

The Xperia X Performance is almost identical to the mid-tier device in the X range, the Sony Xperia X, although the Performance model is a few millimeters thicker. It has a typical Sony Xperia design and is made from premium-feeling stainless steel and glass. The rose gold demo device we got our hands on looked splendid.

The Sony Xperia X Performance features a combined power button / fingerprint sensor, placed on the side of the device. It seems to be effective and well placed. The Sony Xperia X Performance is also dust- and water-resistant to IP 65 and 86 certification. Inside the Sony Xperia X Performance is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor supported by 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity comes in at 32 GB and can be expanded via microSD card up to 200 GB. With a latest edition processor and 3 GB of RAM, the X Performance should easily be able to keep up with the likes of the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7.
